Top 10 Reasons Not to Miss KCMB’s Noon Year’s Eve

Noon Year's EveThough you might be focused on baking, last-minute decorating and snuggling down for the annual viewing of Love Actually, don’t forget to make your plans to ring in 2016! Along with The Urgency Room and Prairiefire, Kansas City Moms Blog is excited to host Noon Year’s Eve at Pinstripes of Overland Park – perfect for the whole family and done before nap time (or New Year’s Eve plans with your friends!). Here are the top ten reasons you don’t want to miss this party:

10. Giveaways. We’ve got them. A birthday party package from Pinstripes, a gift certificate to The Bar Method, acupuncture/massage sessions from Whole Life Chiropractic, punch cards from Paint Glaze & Fire, a giveaway prize from Coffeehouse Crafts, and more. Also, the first 100 families in the door will receive a swag bag with treats from NeatCheeks, Fusion Fitness, Advanced Sports & Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture, Bread and Butter Concepts, and more.

9. Cash bar. Let’s face it, you’re on vacation and the days off school can be long for everyone. Come party with us and enjoy a morning cocktail in between your bowling or bocce competition.

8. Lunch. We’ve got Pinstripes‘ signature pizzas – both kid and adult varieties – included in your ticket price, so no need for extra costs or searching around for a kid-friendly place to eat.

7.  Horse and Carriage Rides. Our friends at Prairiefire are excited to provide horse and carriage rides to our Noon Year’s Eve attendees. What a special way to ring in the new year with your family!

6. Building Toy Zone with Fat Brain ToysWhen you’re not playing a game or winning great prizes, stop in for building time with our favorite KC toy store, Fat Brain Toys.

5.  Crafts with Pintervention. Stop by the Pintervention table and make a Pinterest-worthy NYE-themed craft!

4. Dancing with Funky Mama. Our favorite singing mama in KC will perform on the main stage at 10:30 a.m. About her show, The Kansas City Star says, “Funky Mama [is] a fun, guitar-playing musician whom our daughters hold in the same high regard as Santa, the ice cream man and their own, not-so-funky mama.” After Noon Year’s Eve, you’ll be singing her songs way beyond December 31. Looking for a way to burn even more energy? Make plans to visit our friends from My Gym who will have tumbling mats on site for the little ones to use.

3. Bowling and Bocce. Included in your ticket price is bowling or bocce from Pinstripes! Gather a team of parents for indoor bocce (staff on hand to show you the ropes) or stop in for a game of bowling in Pinstripes’ comfy digs. Bumpers included. 😉

2. Milk and cookies toast. Where else can you ring in the new year with a milk and cookies toast from Decadent, a dessert bar at Prairiefire? Owner Jeff Martin, founder of Smallcakes, opened this tasty location and is sure to kick off 2016 with us under the disco ball in the most delicious way.

1. Valet Parking. Juggling a stroller, little people, diaper bags and a husband checking football scores on his phone? We’ve got you covered. Pull right up to the door, unload the chaos and our valet parking team will take care of the rest. Come inside and have some fun!

We’re looking forward to seeing you at Pinstripes on December 31!
