10 Reasons Not to Miss Noon Year’s Eve

We know, it’s #December. So much to do. But, don’t forget to get the new year off to a great start with fun plans for welcoming 2019! We’ve got you covered with an event for the whole family, and you’ll be done before nap time!

In cooperation with Overland Park Regional Medical Center, CareNow Urgent Care, Pinstripes and Prairiefire, Kansas City Moms Blog is excited to host our fourth annual Noon Year’s Eve. Here are the Top 10 reasons you don’t want to miss this party:

10. Games, crafts and activities for days. We’ll have plenty of awesome games and activities to keep you busy all morning long including the popular Grand Prize Game featuring totally awesome prizes from Prairiefire merchants.  Get your balloon art with our friends at Jenkins & LeBlanc. Play in the sound garden and make jingle bracelets with Stepping Stones. Fish for prizes with Goldfish Swim School and play Plinko with Commerce Bank!

9. You’ll want to remember this day, so take a family selfie with fun party props thanks to Museum at Prairiefire. While you’re there, get a taste of the Discovery Room with a natural history touch table!

8. Make your wishes for 2019. Check out the community wishing wall with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool.

7.  Create. Whether it’s Chinese calligraphy with K12, Inc. or video game coding with Code Ninja (create your own Ninja headband, too!), you’ll have plenty of opportunities to use your imagination.

6. Get the wiggles out. Take on the kids exercise challenge wheel with CareNow Urgent Care. Become your own superhero, cape and all, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center booth! Our favorite local toy store Fat Brain Toys will feature their toy creations for both toddlers and tweens.

Plus bowling, of course! Included in your ticket price, (30-minute) session times will be reserved at check-in. The good news is there will be enough spots for everyone but VIP ticket holders do get their first choice at times! Bumpers and trendy rental shoes included. 😉

5. Swag. VIP ticket holders will go home with a swag bag filled with love tiles from Erin Paige, a 2019 reminder binder from Denise Albright Studio, Kwik Stix, The Pencil Grip Company, Rise Buddy snacks, a movie ticket (for adults and kids) to Cinetopia, water beads from Purpose Play and more from our event sponsors!

4. Dancing with DJ Joe. You’ve probably seen him spinning all around town. His interactive performance will you have singing and dancing into 2019.

3. Cash bar. By the time you ring in the noon year with us, you will have been home with the little people for almost two weeks. You deserve a drink! Plus, no need to make lunch – we’ve got Pinstripes’ flatbread pizzas (buffet open 10 a.m. – noon) included in your ticket price which will save you from extra costs or searching around for a kid-friendly place to eat.

2. Seriously family-friendly fun. We’re moms. We get how much of commitment you’re making to attend an event with your family.. Juggling a dozen cups, little people, diaper bags, attitudes, the stuffed animal they refused to leave at home and a husband checking football scores on his phone? We’ve got you covered.

Pull right up to the door, unload the chaos and our valet parking team will take care of the rest. We’ve ensured our activities are diverse enough to keep both toddlers and elementary aged kids happy so the whole family has fun. We’ve limited ticket quantities to ensure you can still move about the venue without feeling stressed.

1. Milk and cookies toast. Where else can you ring in the new year with a milk and cookies toast, sponsored by delicious sponsors Shatto Milk and Decadent, a dessert bar. Oh, and all the balloons falling from the sky.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at Pinstripes on December 31. Get your now tickets before we sell out!
