Along with our friends from Pinstripes, Prairiefire and Pediatric Partners, P.A., Kansas City Moms Blog rang in the “noon year” with a BIG party!
Upon arriving at Pinstripes, our guests were greeted with free valet parking and horse-drawn carriage rides sponsored by Prairiefire along with a hot chocolate stand sponsored by Costco – Overland Park.
From face painting, caricatures, food, entertainment and interactive vendor experiences, there was plenty to see and do at Noon Year’s Eve. We built with Legos, checked for teddy bear heartbeats, posed for selfies, learned about the Earth’s rotation and played our hearts out. Prairiefire brought a carnival-like atmosphere to Noon Year’s Eve with their Bozo the Clown-inspired Grand Prize Games with sweet rewards for every child. For the mamas needing to feed or change babies, we treated them to a cozy, comfortable lounge thanks to our friends with Baby Love Baby Fair.
One of our favorite Kansas City performers, Funky Mama, gave an entertaining performance that got everyone moving. Make sure to connect with her website and on social media to catch her 2017 shows!
We did some Whip and Nae Nae, the Electric Slide and more with a DJ that had more energy than a toddler.
No party is complete without noise makers, right? Thanks to Pintervention for bringing a great New Year’s Eve-themed craft for everyone to enjoy again this year!
Pinstripes caters to families all year round, but bowling was an especially popular way to ring in the new year with both our youngest and oldest guests.
The excitement culminated with a milk and cookie toast and balloon drop courtesy of Decadent and Emler Swim School!
