Consignment Sale Wins

Given the opportunity to buy clothes to outfit my little men without forking over a large percentage of my monthly budget, I take it without hesitation.

At the Just Between Friends Overland Park sale this month, I took my list of needs including jeans without holes, winter coats and hats, shoes and of course, K-State apparel.

While my shoulders always ache after flipping through the racks of clothes, my annual trip is worth it.

3T ZeroXposur winter coat with removable hood for $15 (retails new for $80)

kstate gear K-State gear: infant sweatsuit, winter coat and hooded sweatshirt: $14 (similar items retail new for $80)

I outfitted my toddler son’s entire fall/winter wardrobe, winter gear for both toddler and baby, busy box for baby’s Christmas present, a portable swing for Grandma’s house, a few baby proofing items and several pairs of shoes – all for $150.

Considering the two outfits I bought for both boys for a special event last month totaled close to $75, I’d say I did pretty good.

You can find your best deal just in time for Christmas at the JBF holiday sale on Nov. 15-16. Click here for more details.
