The lazy days of summer are almost over. My family has been enjoying late-night lightning bug-catching and going for a new record of how many bottles of sunscreen a family with an 11, 9 and 5-year-old can use in one summer.
But now, we are switching gears.
If you have a child, then you are no stranger to the sort of transition I’m talking about. As parents, we are constantly switching gears as days, weeks, and even seasons change around us. In a few short days, as some of you have already done, many of us will be switching from summer to school; we can be found shopping for everything from school supplies to shoes, clothes and accessories. Heck – maybe you are even squeezing in dentist appointments and a quick hair cut! We have a lot to do, and some of it may or may not get done before the kids head back to school.
(Note: that is A-OK!)
Soon, Facebook and Instagram will be filled with images of our smiling kids wearing their full backpacks and sporting their new do’s – a simultaneous ending and beginning.
In those pictures, you might see signs announcing a new grade level that’s about to get under way. Thankfully, Kansas City Moms Blog has allowed me to take the sign search off your plate! Just click on the (FREE!) links below, then either print your sign or save them all for years to come.
