Inside Pediatrics: Second Season Premieres Tonight

Though it’s a place no mother hopes to be with her child, it’s comforting to know Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Hospital can take care of your family in its most vulnerable moments. Several members of our KCMB team can attest to the value of having experts close by.

You will have a chance to experience what happens behind the scenes at Children’s Mercy in the six-part documentary series, Inside Pediatrics, premiering tonight on KMBC. Bonus – it’s narrated by actor Paul Rudd.

This Emmy Award-winning series follows patients and families as they navigate their medical journeys with an inside look at speciality programs, operating rooms and medical transport teams that provide care for patients with conditions ranging from common to complex.

Children’s Mercy has more than 700 pediatricians that pride themselves in being kid experts. The entire Children’s Mercy team — from admitting nurse to orthopedic surgeon — is specifically trained to treat only children. As moms, this definitely provides an extra level of comfort knowing your medical team is dedicated to kids all the time.

This is the kind of care our city has come to expect from Children’s Mercy Hospital.

Follow along with us as we check out season 2 of Inside Pediatrics at 7 p.m. tonight!
