Along with our friends from Pinstripes, Prairiefire and The Urgency Room, Kansas City Moms Blog rang in the “noon year” with a BIG party!
Representatives from The Urgency Room were on hand to welcome 400+ guests to our Noon Year’s Eve celebration. As one of the nation’s largest providers of urgent care and occupational medical services and with five locations across the Kansas City metro area, The Urgency Room strives to provide the highest level of care to families who know all too well the bumps that life can bring.
Also on hand were some of our friends from Fox 4 who provided live coverage. Ryan Seacrest had another commitment that day, but we hope to secure him in 2016. 😉
Upon arriving at Pinstripes, our guests were greeted with free valet parking and horse-drawn carriage rides sponsored by Prairiefire. What mom isn’t grateful for a little help getting in the door?
From face painting (thanks, Katey-did Entertainment!) to food, entertainment and interactive vendor experiences, there was plenty to see and do at Noon Year’s Eve.
The Building Zone, sponsored by Fat Brain Toys, was a huge hit with kids and adults alike!
One of our favorite Kansas City entertainers, Funky Mama, gave an entertaining performance that got everyone moving. Make sure to connect with her website and on social media to catch her 2016 shows!
The folks at My Gym gave the kids another way to work out their energy: on the mats! Can we agree that we’ll all be needing more of this kind of fun now that winter has finally set in?
With exhibits featuring the solar system and dinosaurs, the Museum at Prairiefire introduced our littlest guests to some of this universe’s biggest creations.
Prairiefire’s own Threshing Bee brought a carnival-like atmosphere to Noon Year’s Eve with games and prizes for every child.
No party is complete without party favors, right? Thanks to Pintervention for bringing a great New Year’s Eve-themed craft for everyone to enjoy!
If you’re familiar with Pinstripes, then you already know it’s a great family-friendly entertainment destination. Many of our guests couldn’t wait to show off their game on Pinstripes’ bowling lanes (bumpers optional, but helpful!).
We capped off the morning in true New Year’s Eve fashion (for kids, at least): a milk and cookie toast and balloon drop courtesy of Decadent and The Fresh Market!
On behalf of Pinstripes and Prairiefire, we can’t wait to do this again next year (so mark your calendars NOW!). Until then …
